Family Sessions
How they work…
Done in your home or at an outdoor location of your choosing
Typically last around 60-90 mins
Lots of fun and laughs, minimal direction and posing unless needed
I’ll inevitably tell some bad toddler jokes or act like a fool for a giggle
We will capture your story: the details, connection, and the in between moments
It’s that easy, and they’re actually pretty darn fun
Over the past decade, I’ve poured my heart in to making transparent exactly who I am and why I love to photograph families. I want to be your guide from initial phone call to having photo art on the wall (or in a beautiful coffee table book). My pricing takes in to consideration my time, experience, and business costs. Session fee includes the time it takes me to talk with you and prepare, photograph the session, edit your images, and provide an online digital gallery. It does not include images or products. Collections are purchased separately after you’ve seen your images. All collections include digital files and a print credit for my online shop with all of my very favorite products.
A note on terminology:
…for the most part, I consider all sessions to be family sessions, and you’ll see that I use that term a lot. Whether your are doing a session with your partner, your pets, your new baby, your 8-month bump, your sister and parents, or your spouse and kids, it’s all family to me. That said, I do have a couple of options outside of a typical full family session, and those are listed below.
Well, since you asked…yep, I do headshots and small business brand sessions too. Give me a shout if you want to chat about those.
Session fee, $300 | Collections starting at $750
All collections include digital files and a print credit.
Newborn Sessions
Same as a family session except…
Done in home unless specifically discussed
Approximately two hours, giving plenty of time for soothing, feeding, and cuddling
I generally hold a spot for your newborn around 2 weeks after due date (we will adjust the session date if needed when baby arrives), or any time you prefer
Minimal posing + props used; baby will often be in your arms, the spot they love best
Easy wardrobe for baby: I suggest a combo of undressed, diaper only, simple onesie
Note for tired parents: my goal is to make this as effortless as possible for you. Minimal planning involved. You you do not need to have anything prepared unless you want to… seriously, nothing. I’ll take the reins.
Maternity Sessions
Capturing that special stage of waiting…
These are the only sessions I do a little differently, with two options:
(1) Can be done as a stand alone session, just like a family or newborn session, OR
(2) Can be combined with a family or newborn session. If you schedule a family or newborn session, I offer a 30 minute add-on maternity session for $450.
Add-on maternity sessions are up to 30 minutes, with 15 images included. Images are placed in the same gallery where I’ll add your family/newborn photos (for ease of download + use of print credit).
Worthington Weekday Sessions
Worthington Weekday Sessions are 15 minute short-and-sweet photo sessions only offered at a few of my favorite locations in Worthington, Ohio. These sessions are available on specific weekdays (8a-2p) during the school year, and are offered as an option for those who want a quick refresh.
